CompTel Installs 500 Agent Call Center to
Support Hurricane Katrina Victims !
Earlier this year, CompTel completed the installation of a
small Inter-Tel based call center for Fujitsu in the Dallas area. Shortly
after Katrina smashed into the Louisiana gulf coast, FEMA contacted
Fujitsu to install a 500 agent call center to help meet the greatly
expanded emergency inbound call handling requirements caused by Katrina.
In less than 12 days, COMPTEL put in
place a fully operational 500 agent "Dual - ATM" Inter-Tel
communications system that met the requirements of Fujitsu and FEMA.
